Hello,

My name is Jan Vanderlinden and I am the founder of Earth Face Masks Company and a resident to Southern California, one of the United States regions most affected by Covid-19. Just like many of you, I have loved ones that are vulnerable during this time, and I am committed to ensuring their safety. According to the CDC, a large part of helping slow the spread of the coronavirus is wearing cloth face coverings while conducting essential outings such as grocery shopping. This is a new concept for many people. Availability was low and suddenly demand was high. As a business owner of a company that already has skilled sewers, machines, and fabric material, I felt redirecting these assets  to the current need was my best way to help the community during this difficult time. This lead to the creation of Earth Face Masks Co.

My company, Patio Guys, an outdoor furniture refinishing company, has everything needed to produce masks. Since Patio Guys is the parent company of Earth Face Masks, I felt that it was important for there to be an alignment of values. The work that the Patio Guys team does prevents old, but salvageable outdoor furniture from ending up in landfills by transforming the furniture to look brand new. This saves the customer money and is beneficial for the environment. Furniture is the number one least recycled household item. We are doing everything we can to lower this.

As I was raised to treasure and protect nature, I am determined to always do more. Due to the company's success, we have planted 647 trees around the globe through our partnership with One Tree Planted (501C3 Nonprofit) in honor of our loyal customers.

As we move forward with the establishment of Earth Face Masks Co., we strive to keep the environment in mind every step of the way. Although they serve different industries, Earth Face Mask and Patio Guys share a key uniting value and that is the importance of reusing.

The fabric that we use in our masks is meant to be long-lasting and durable. The Sunbrella fabric that we use is Greenguard Certified which means it meets strict chemical emission limits and have been tested for over 10,000 chemicals. This ensure that the Sunbrella fabric is Earth friendly and safe for your family. I encourage you to visit  the "Design and Science" page to learn more about what our face masks are made of.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to call the number below or send us an email through the email form and we will be sure to respond as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support and please stay safe.

Jan Vanderlinden
